- The M.8 headpiece has a roller mechanism. There are no rollers on the M.Dx. Yes, it has a full-length roller track that massages the neck, the midback, the low back, and the buttocks, but it does not have a second roller unit in the headpiece like the M.8.
- Air ionizers and aromatherapy modules are not included in the M.Dx.
- Rollers, feet, seats, palms, backs, and neck pillows have heating elements in the M.8. In contrast, the M.Dx does not have heating elements in the rollers, feet, seats, palms, backs, or neck pillows.
- Saddle, Midnight, Walnut, Bordeaux, and Pearl are the colors available for the M.8, whereas midnight black and walnut brown are the colors available for the M.Dx.
- Only the M.8 model has its components exported to Japan for assembly, quality-control testing, and programming. Both M.8 and M.Dx models are manufactured in China. China manufactures, assembles, tests, and programs the M.Dx.
