Manufacturer’s vs. Extended Warranties

OSAKI EXTENDED WARRANTY OPTIONS:

1) 1 YEAR EXTENDED WARRANTY (4 YEARS TOTAL) – $149

For an additional price, Osaki guarantees two (2) years of in-home labor, three (3) years of parts and structural framework, and four (4) years of structural framework.

2) 2 YEAR EXTENDED WARRANTY (5 YEARS TOTAL) – $249

For an additional price, Osaki guarantees three (3) years of in-home labor, four (4) years of parts and structural framework, and five (5) years of structural framework.

WHAT THE OSAKI WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:

  • This warranty does not include any shipping expenses incurred (if required).
  • Fading, wear, and pilling of fabrics do not constitute a defect under this warranty as those conditions naturally occur with fabrics
  • Failures of attach points, such as but not limited to: stitching, Velcro, and zippers, do not constitute a defect under this warranty.
  • The warranty shall not apply if the product has been damaged physically, whether intentionally or due to an accident or neglect: including stains, fluids, mold, water damage, animal damage, cuts, burns, or is otherwise unsanitary, damaged, or soiled.
  • Any environmental conditions (i.e. fire, floods, rust, corrosion, hurricanes, sand, dirt, windstorms, hail, earthquakes, and/or tornados) or any other exposure to weather conditions.

HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE:

  • You must provide proof of purchase for any warranty claim.
  • You must obtain a return authorization number in order to ship products to a service center if you’re outside of the labor period.
  • You may obtain service advice, or an RMA number, by contacting the Osaki Customer Service department at 888-848-2630.
  • This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

Apex guarantees that your qualified product will be replaced or repaired at our option, without cost to you, should it be deemed defective because of faulty parts, workmanship or structural defects during the first three (3) years of ownership. This warranty plan includes one (1) year of in-home labor, two (2) years of parts and structural framework, and three (3) years of structural framework.

APEX EXTENDED WARRANTY OPTIONS:

Warranties don’t cover anything beyond what is specified in their terms. This includes damage resulting from improper installation; unauthorized repairs (yes, this covers attempts at fixing yourself); alterations or modifications of an original condition such as adding things onto your item that was never intended by the manufacturer- which can lead to functionality loss if done incorrectly! It also applies for use without reasonable care – think about how often you drop something because someone else might not have treated it nicely when they carried out tasks on behalf of yours truly…or even worse yet–someone throws said object into a river after realizing just what he has done wrong
